Ken's
Garden
|
Tucked
away in quiet, rural Minot is Ken Hewitt's
garden. Ken is a master gardener. Known as 'The
Delphinium Man', Ken has the most astounding
display of delphiniums that I have ever seen. His
garden is a delight to the eyes, boasting of many
plant varieties, some of which are rare. Visit Ken's garden

Nestled in picturesque rural
Maine is the Blount Farm, a family enterprise
that began in 1975. Sue and Bob, along with their
four daughters, ran a successful dairy business
with over 100 milkers until 1997. Visit the Blount Farm

Poulin Country Gardens
|
A few miles north of us on gently
rolling fields live Chester and Natalie Poulin.
Chester retired from his work at the Scott Paper
Mill in Winslow about 20 years ago and has since
taken up his family tradition of raising
vegetables. Natalie and 'Chet' tend their fields
and harvest their vegetables for their garden
stand which draws many locals.
Natalie also has a special touch for herbs and
dried flower arrangements. Chester and Natalie
officially closed their farmstand in 2011.Visit Poulin Country Gardens
