Garnet Ross Cousins
1910 Sketchbook
My grandfather's sketchbook measures 5"x 9.5" and has a hard-bound, cloth cover with an elastic self-closure
that, due to age, has lost its elasticity. Attached to the larger dimension of the back cover is a
cloth sleeve for a pencil. There are seventeen sketches in the book, all apparently done in 1910.
As might be expected, the book and its pages show signs of aging.
